The Morning After

14th July 2002

The Morning After

She looks out far,
At low twinkling lights,
And remembers back,
So cold, his eyes,

The stars glow above,
Love fills her heart,
She blames herself,
For them being apart,

A big gentle hand,
Strokes her so soft,
A sickness engulfs her,
She knows what she's lost.

Lucifer's Search
8th October 2002

Under the silver,
Light of the moon,
So cold and lonely,
Feeling dread and doom,

The fires roar,
Yet not felt,
Atmitting souls,
That will not melt,

Outside is the beam,
Of the silent moon,
Yet tortured screams,
Fill the room,

Lives in jars,
Tell the tales,
The light fades,
Then it fails,

The cold black ground,
Is covered with blood,
His silence filled with sounds,
Empty and unloved,

He seeks amongst the souls,
For the one he knows is there,
His wild red eyes forever searching,
For a strand of golden hair.
